摘要
通过调查问卷采集400名在校大学生对于三种英语口试模式的认知态度及其英语学习状态等数据,利用SPSS软件统计分析,结论如下:(1)学习者对于三种测试模式的总体偏好度依次为小组讨论(3.22/5)、人机对话(2.78/5)和考官考生对话(2.77/5);(2)对考试模式的偏好和受试自我英语能力评价有积极相关关系;(3)考量受试者专业背景这个动态变量,英语口试模式对于所有受试者是较公平的;(4)受试者的紧张度和偏好度呈显著相关,其紧张度则受到交流对象因素的影响;(5)学习者对曾经参加过的考试模式比较熟悉,因而会在偏好度上对该一种或多种模式有所倾斜。
Using questionnaires for investigation,this research has collected data concerning 400 university students' cognitive attitudes towards oral English exam modes and the status of their English learning. SPSS software was used to statistically analyze the collected data. The analysis concludes that: 1) Learners' general preference degree of the three testing modes can be ordered as follows: Group Oral Test( 3. 22 /5),Man-machine Dialogue( 2. 78 /5) and ExaminerCandidate Dialogue( 2. 77 /5); 2) Learners ' self-assessment of English competency is positively correlated to their preference of exam modes; 3) Considering subjects' different majors as a dynamic variable,the modes of oral English exams are comparatively fair for all subjects'; 4) Participant nervousness is positively correlated to their test preference,and is affected by who the participant is communicating with( Peers,Computer,or Examiner); 5) Subjects' are more familiar with exams they have already attended,and consequently this familiarity affects their preference for one or more types of exam mode.
