项目教学法在贵州高校英语专业应用型人才培养中的实践研究——以兴义民族师范学院为例

On the Application of Project- based Learning to Cultivating Practice-Guided English Majors of Guizhou Universities——A Case Study of Xingyi Normal University for Nationalities

培养应用型人才是多数贵州高校的普遍定位目标,英语教学的目标也是如此。项目教学法倡导的是一种"以项目为主线,教师为主导,学生为主体"的教学方式,让学生在实践中掌握和运用所学知识,培养自主学习、合作学习与解决问题等能力,这正符合高校英语专业教学的目标要求。结合当前贵州高校英语专业教学的现状,针对应用型人才培养目标的需要,以兴义民族师范学院为例,探讨项目教学法在英语专业教学中的应用,对提高教学质量,提升学生英语综合应用能力,培养为地方经济社会服务的应用型英语人才具有深远的意义。

Like the general positioning of Guizhou universities, the objective of English teaching is to cultivate practice- guided talents. The Project- based Learning advocates one way with the ＂mainline of project, guidance of teachers, and subject of students＂. As a result, students are able to have the opportunity to master and apply what have been learned in their daily life, developing self- learning,cooperation and problem solving capacities that meet the target of the English teaching for English majors. Concerning current English teaching of Guizhou universities and the goal of developing practice- guided talents, the study on the application of Project- based Learning to English teaching of Xingyi Normal University for Nationalities plays an important role in improving teaching quality, promoting students＇ comprehensive English applied skills, and cultivating practice- guided talents for local society and economy.
