经济原则视角下科技英语写作中的问题及解决策略

On Problems and Solutions in English for Science and Technology (EST) Writing under the Perspective of the Economy Principle

科技英语是科技信息交流的重要载体,其语言特点集中表现在经济性和信息性的对立统一。这就意味着作者力求以最少的语言资源实现最高效的信息传递。本文参照经济原则,根据常出现的影响语量经济和信息传递效能的问题,提出了具体的实现路径,以期为学术英语写作质量的提高提供指导。

EST is an important carrier of technology information communication with a unity of opposites of high economy in language and great information density, which means writers tend to utilize the least language resources to realize the most efficient information transmission. This paper aims to examine achieving methods of high economy in language and great density in information under the economy principle in terms of related problems in EST writing. Through this research, we can contribute to the promotion of EAP（English for academic purpose）writing.
