中国向何处去:人文社会科学的近期走向

Where China Is Going: The Recent Approach of Humanities and Social Sciences

整个当下中国正在朝着更加本土化的方向发展,近30年来社会科学高速发展繁荣的局面正在告一段落,而人文学术、特别是中国古典学术和传统文化研究正在从边缘重返主流。传统文化、特别是儒学要想走向世界,必须和自由主义这个占主流地位的思想流派展开深度对话,同时必须根据自己的基本原则去创造出一种高于自由主义的生活方式。当前儒学复兴的挑战性一是指向主流意识形态,二是指向西方中心论,三是指向现行的学科分类。

At present,China is developing toward the direction of deepening localization. The situation of rapid development and high prosperity of social sciences over thepast three decades is coming to an end,while humanities,especially studies of Chinese classics and traditional culture are returning to the mainstream. If aiming at going global,traditional Chinese culture,especially Confucianism must carry on deep-going dialogue with liberalism,the mainstream Western idea; and meanwhile,it should create a life style higher than the one of liberalism according to its own basic principle. The challenge of the revival of Confucianism refers to the mainstream ideology,to the Western centralism,and to the current classification of disciplines.
