This paper introduced and analyzed the operation mode of US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention（CDC） which was the largest public health organization in the world and European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control（ECDC） which was a small but capable organization from the perspective of institution overview,organization,finance and human resources. US CDC had a very mature organization and the dedicated department managed more than 10 billion US dollars funding every year and kept the funding to be used effectively. The operation characteristic of ECDC was the capability of coordination and communication of all European public health resources. Chinese disease control and prevention system can improve funding support and management,and integrate public health resources of all regions from the advantages of US CDC and ECDC.
