摘要
翻译《毛泽东选集》时如何处理各种规范,牵涉中英两种语言和文化,事关政治大局和文化传播,其重要性不言自喻。本文借助笔者手中掌握的《毛泽东选集》英译原始资料,对英译中的规范问题进行探究分析,望能对当今政治文献翻译有点滴启示。
The translation of the Selected Works of Mao Tse-tung is a grand event in Chinese translation history. Its significance is self-evident,with its norms of translation involving languages and cultures of Chinese and English,and concerning the political situations and cultural dissemination. This paper analyzes the norms of translation with firsthand materials and documents,aiming to provide a reference for the translation of political documents at present.
