城市道路的交通问题,归结起来就是交通的供需矛盾问题,而这种矛盾导致的直接后果就是交通的拥挤和堵塞,在平面交叉口表现尤为突出。因此研究解决平面交叉口的交通问题,采取有效的交通管理措施,减少交叉口的交通冲突,提高交叉口的通行能力和交通安全性,从而提高整个城市道路网的交通运行质量是目前最为迫切、最为实际的一项研究课题。

Urban road traffic problem is the one between supply and demand issues of transportation,and a direct consequence of this contradiction is the result of traffic congestion and blockage,particularly prominent in flat intersections.Therefore to study and solve the traffic problem of the flat intersections,take effective traffic management measures,reduce traffic conflicts of the flat intersections,and improve the intersection traffic capacity and traffic safety,then improve the quality of the entire city road network traffic is the most urgent,one of the most actual research.
