从认知语言学角度探究“萨丕尔-沃尔夫假说”

Exploring Sapir- Whorf Hypothesis From the Perspective of Cognitive Linguistics

在探讨语言与思维的关系时,"萨丕尔-沃尔夫假说"不可或缺。这一假说使人们对语言与思维之间关系的讨论达到高潮,却也遭到不少诟病。随着认知语言学的兴起,这一假说又重新回到人们的视野中。拟从认知语言学的角度,探究"萨丕尔-沃尔夫假说",发现认知语言学实证研究主要从三个方面有力地支持了这一假说:(1)语言对空间认知的影响;(2)语言对时间认知的影响;(3)语言对性别认知的影响。

When discussing the relationship between language and thought,Sapir- Whorf Hypothesis（ SWH） is indispensable. SWH made the discussion reach the peak,however,it had been criticized for a long time. With the development of cognitive linguistics,SWH attracts attention again. This paper aims at probing SWH from the perspective of cognitive linguistics,and finds that empirical studies of cognitive linguistics are for SWH from three aspects： 1） language’s impacts on the cognition of space; 2）language’s impacts on the cognition of time; 3） language’s impacts on the cognition of gender.
