摘要
为了改善天然气发动机的燃烧过程和性能,在不对整个燃烧系统进行大的更改的前提下,开发了一种单独进气预燃室。该预燃室内在较高浓度混合气状态下,着火时产生的能量使主燃烧室内的燃料与空气迅速进行混合并快速充分地燃烧。试验结果表明,所设计的单独进气预燃室可加快燃烧速度,缩短燃烧周期,改善发动机性能,降低排放污染,具有推广应用价值。
This paper presents a study on a new independent intake pre- chamber on the basis of small changes in the whole combustion system in order to improve combustion process and performance of the natural gas engine. When gas mixture in the pre- chamber is at relatively high concentration,ignition energy emitted from the pre- chamber make the fuel in the main combustion chamber quickly mix with air and completely consume at a more faster burning speed. The experiments showed that the independent intake pre- chamber could speed up the combustion rate,shorten combustion period,improve engine performance and reduce emissions. This new engine is valuable for a wide range of applications.
