Transition and Surpassing: the Way of Reform and Development of Applied University

如何实现转型发展是新建地方本科院校面临的重大课题。面对中国经济发展新常态,新建地方本科院校对发展中面临的困境,如办学定位不准确、专业设置与地方产业脱节、双师型师资建设薄弱、政策导向和资源配置偏差等,必须保持清醒的认识;要破解以上办学难题,必须审时度势,深化综合改革,实施转型发展战略,即向应用型大学转型;并勇于超越,打造升级版的应用型大学,使应用型人才培养质量再上一个新台阶。

How to realize the transition and development has become an important issue to the newly-established local universities. These universities must keep awake to the difficulties brought about by the ＂New Normal＂economy,such as the inaccuracy of the school-running,the disjoint between the major setup and the local industry,the weakness of the double qualified teacher construction,the deviation of the policy orientation and the resource allocation. In order to resolve these problems,they should assess the situation,deepen the comprehensive reform and carry out the transformational development,in other words,to finish the transition to the applied universities. In addition,they should have the courage to surpass,make them as the upgraded applicationoriented universities,and finally go a step further in cultivation quality.
