Like many other companies before it,JD.com began to slack off a bit after it held a succesful IPO.This was especially true before restruclion of the company went through in the middle of last year as internal struggles interfered with cooperation and innovation.This slowdown was the focus of a recent meeting during which JD.com cofounder Liu Qiangdong urged executives to regain the company's fighting spirit.In an interview with China Entrepreneur.Liu revealed that he plans to spend the next two years focusing on this issue.Known for his controlling nature.Liu once had to spend time in the US just to give his company some room to breathe on its own.Now though it seems he is doing everything he can to play the role of the leader of a publicly traded company.He now asks for the opinion of his staff before making any major decisions and even lakes the time to communicate with media himself.
