Mr. Zhang Ci-gong did scholarly research meticulously,substantiated the truth,advocated that ＂ Innovation comes from inheritance; real knowledge comes from practice＂. He maintained the academic thinking of inheritance and innovation,scientific TCM development in order to revive national culture. In Shanghai,he was committed to the revitalization of TCM academic and training many subsequent professionals of Chinese medicine. He laid the foundation for Shanghai Ding Gan-ren academic school of traditional Chinese medicine,and made outstanding contributions to carry forward China＇s traditional medicine.
