Double-reheat is an effective mean to increase efficiency of steam turbine.New choice has been provided for the future construction of thermal power projects as the domestic first double-reheat steam turbine which operates successfully. This article introduces the configuration of start-up system, the choice of start-up parameter and existing problems during start-up and commissioning, it provides a reference for the design and operation of the same type steam turbine.
