《桃花扇》清代王萦绪改本述评

著名传奇剧作《桃花扇》有清人王萦绪(1713—1784)改写本,罕有人知,今有抄本传世,藏于山东省图书馆。该抄本卷首有王萦绪所撰《序言》《题辞》《删改缘由》和《跋语》,王萦绪本人憎恶真实历史人物左良玉,而崇敬史可法,故他主要依此情感倾向和褒贬立场删改原剧。通过删改,他在改本中加强了对左良玉的批判和否定,而维护史可法的正面形象。这些删改既涉及一些重要的情节关目,又涉及一些细微之处。王萦绪对原剧的改写带有较强烈的个人感情色彩。

There is an adaptation of the Peach Blossom Fan adapted by Wang Ying-xu which is an handwritten copy kept in Shandong library.Wang Ying-xu wrote preface,inscription,the reason for the adaptation and postscript for the adaptation.He adapted the opera work to his emotional tendency and commendatory and derogatory derivation.He strengthened the criticism and negation on ZUO Liang-yu and protected the image of SHI Ke-fa in the adaption.Those adaptations involve some important plots and some details. His adaptation delivers the kind of characteristic of full of passion.
