摘要
影视作品是通过图像、声音、文字等多种符号资源的互动产生意义,本质上是由视觉和听觉两种模态占据主导地位的多模态文本。影视作品的多模态性促使影视翻译关注多模态的角度下的大众传播效果。在我国,影视翻译的发展经历了默片、配音片和字幕片等阶段。文章运用多模态话语分析理论,根据不同类型模态的相互关系和作用,分析了各阶段影视翻译的特征、局限性和受众的接受情况,以期为新时期影视作品的翻译提供一个新视角。
Films and television works negotiate meaning with images,sounds,words and multiple sign resources. It is in nature a multi-model text dominated with visual and auditory models. This character directs the attention of film translation studies to multi-model perspective study on its mass media effect. In China,the film translation practice experience the stage of silent film,dub film,and subtitled film. With multi-model theory,the features,limitations,and the audience's response have been studied according to the interrelation and function of different models. It aims to provide a new perspective for film translation practice.
