摘要
在改革开放后的中国,消费主义的发展呈现出与西方资本主义国家迥然相异的形态,同时具备了现代主义和后现代主义的双重特性。从消费主义与生产主义的关系来看,它体现了现代化目标与后现代性手段的高度统一;从商品的符号价值和消费方式的文化意涵来看,它兼具现代性区隔加深和后现代多元融合的趋势;从生产影像制造欲望的层面来看,它依赖于后现代的心理需求和现代主义满足方式的相互结合。从消费文化在当代中国的发展状况可以看出现代性与后现代性在转型社会中的高度重叠和连续性,以及这种重叠对中国社会带来的经济文化影响。
Since the Opening and Reform Policy started, the Consumerism in China developed differently from which in western countries, presenting the duality of modernity and post-modernity. With respect to the relationship between Consumerism and Productivism, the modernized goals and the post-modernized means are highly unified. With respect to the Symbolized Value of commodity and the cultural implication of consuming pattern, the modern trend of distinction and the post-modern trend of integration are overlapping here. In regard to producing visions and evoking desires, the post-modernism psychological needs are satisfied by modernism means. The culture of consumption developing in modern China depicts the overlapping and continuity of modernity and post-modernity in a transforming society, from which we can further explore its cultural and economic impact on Chinese society.
