广州市513名老年人根面龋流行状况及危险因素分析

The prevelance and risk factors analysis of root caries among 513 elderly in Guangzhou City

目的探讨广州市老年人群根面龋的患病情况以及危险因素,为老年人根面龋的预防提供参考信息。方法选取广州市岭海老年大学海珠分校为调查点,采用招募志愿者的方法,为该校65~74岁的在读学员513名进行口腔健康检查及问卷调查。结果广州市513名老年人根面龋患病率为65.7%,龋均为2.19±1.92。男性68.8%,龋均为2.34±2.01;女性62.7%,龋均为1.98±1.75。患龋率在性别间差异无统计学意义（χ~2=2.105,P=0.147）,龋均在性别间差异有统计学意义（t=1.96,P=0.03）。Logistic回归分析结果显示：食物嵌塞（P=0.016）及口干症状（P〈0.001）为老年人根面龋患病的影响因素。结论加强口腔健康教育,形成良好口腔健康行为,有助于预防老年人根面龋的发生。

Objective To explore the prevalence and risk factors of root caries among the elderly in Guangzhou city in order to provide reference information for the prevention of root caries in the elderly. Methods Cross-sectional study was carried out in 513 people aged 65-74 years who were studying at the University for the elderly. Oral examination was taken by a trained and standardized dentist, the root caries index and other clinical variables were recorded. Questionnaires were administered to collect socioeconomic, sociodemographic and oral hygiene data. Statistical analyses were performed using parametric tests. Results The prevalence of root caries was 65. 7%. The mean DFT was 2. 19 ± 1. 92.The prevalence and the mean DFT of men were 68. 8% and 2. 34 ± 2. 01, while 62. 7% and 1. 98 ± 1. 75 for women. The prevalence of root caries showed no significant difference between genders（ P = 0. 147）, the mean DFT showed significant difference between genders（ P〈0. 001）. Statistically differences of the caries prevalence were observed across food impaction（ P = 0. 016）, and were higher in dry mouth（ P〈0. 001）. Those who were with dry mouth and / or with food impaction had more root caries. Conclusion Strengthening the oral health education and forming a good oral health behavior are helpful to prevent the elderly root caries.
