大革命文学的“下半旗”——茅盾《蚀》三部曲重读

The “Half- Mast” in the Revolution Literature——Rereading the Trilogy of “Eclipse” by Mao Dun

茅盾早期小说《蚀》的三部曲,是大革命时代现实人生的一面镜子。它通过描写特定时代男女青年参加革命的动机、方式、创伤,以及整个出入于革命的历程与遭遇,呈现了这一时代革命者异样的人生画卷。小资产阶级出身的女性知识分子等新式女性在革命中的摇摆与幻灭、放纵与自戕,旧式女子或底层普通女性的受辱与无助、沉沦与挣扎,成为《蚀》三部曲中女性书写的重要侧面。《蚀》三部曲既是茅盾对自己热衷于社会政治活动的挽歌,也像风雨中的"下半旗"一样,是对大革命时代女性群体性格与命运的无声祭奠。

The Novels＇ Disillusion,Shake and Pursue are referred to the trilogy of the＂Eclipse＂written by Mao Dun in his early time,which is a mirror of real life in Revolution era. By describing the motivation,fashion and trauma of young men and women who participated in the revolution of particular era and experience in and out of the revolution,it presents a picture of revolutionaries＇ life in this era. In the ＂Eclipse＂,female intellectuals with petty- bourgeois origin and modern women have the behaviors of swing,disillusionment,indulgence and suicide in the revolution,and the traditional female or the underlying ordinary women are humiliated and helpless,sinking and struggle,which become the important side of women writing in the novels. The trilogy of the ＂Eclipse＂is not only an elegy of social and political activities which Mao Dun is interested in,but like rain in the ＂half- mast＂,as a silent memorial of the fate and character of the women＇s groups in the Revolution era.
