日语流行语「草食男子」的语义扩展与认知

从认知语言学角度并结合影响语义变化的社会文化环境因素等,对「草食男子」这一典型人物称谓流行语的语义扩展变化进行考察。认为"草食系"从指"食草动物"到比喻"性格温和、对任何事尤其是婚恋不感兴趣的男子",经历了隐喻、转喻、提喻等比喻机制演变。「草食男子」是日本时下社会话题人物的精炼概括,体现了人们对社会和语言的认知变化。

The semantic extensions of ＂Soshoku Danshi＂, a typical appellation in Japanese, were exploredfrom the perspective of cognitive linguistics as well as in terms of social and cultural factors of semantic chan-ges. It has been found that the term of ＂Soshokukei＂ undergoes metaphoric, metonymic and synecdochicprocesses when it evolves ＂herbivores＂ to ＂men who have no interest in getting married or finding a girlfriend＂semantically. As a succinct term for a popular temperament, ＂Ssshoku Danshi＂ reflects cognitive changes inthe perception of society and language.
