认知语言学意义观关照下的《醉翁亭记》句式英译比析研究

A Comparative Study of the English Versions of Sentence Pattern in Zuiwengtingji from the Perspective of Cognitive Linguistics Views of Meaning

本文主要以认知语言学的意义观为理论视角对《醉翁亭记》的六个英译文在无主句、骈句和"也"字句三种句式的翻译上进行了对比分析,旨在比析出最大限度再现原文句式所传递的意义的同时探索出中国古典散文常见句式的翻译策略。通过比析发现,汉语无主句的英语隐喻性无灵主语句翻译策略、骈句的意群断句对称策略和"也"字句的以虚显实句和英语倒装句翻译策略可有效翻译中国古典散文中常见句式。

The paper takes as its theoretic perspective the Cognitive Linguistics Views of Meaning to conduct a comparative study on the six English versions of Non-subject sentence,Pianju and ＂ Ye＂ sentence in Zuiwengtingji,and attempts to appreciatively select the version which can reproduce to the largest degree the meaning of source sentence pattern as well as to explore effective translation strategies for the translation of common sentence pattern in Chinese ancient classic essay.Through the study,it is discovered that the strategies of English Metaphoric sentences with Inanimate Subjects,meaning group symmetry,sentence with the prominence of real reference by the empty reference,English inversion sentence are effective for the translation of the above three sentence patterns.
