Experiences of LV Caoyuan the veteran doctor of traditional Chinese medicine in treating exogenous fever of children

文章总结吕草原老中医在治疗小儿外感发热方面的临床经验,根据小儿脏腑娇嫩、纯阳之体、易感外邪及感邪后易传变的生理病理特点,确立"卫气同治,截断扭转"为治疗原则,注意卫气营血同治,在解表同时,亦清气分热及透营血分之热,并注重固护津液。遣方时重用清热解毒,早用苦寒,及时凉血透营,配伍养阴保津,如此数法联用取得良好临床效果。

The clinical experiences of LV Caoyuan the veteran doctor of TCM in treating exogenous fever of children were summarized in this article. According to the physiological and pathological characteristics of children, such as delicate viscera, pure-Yang constitution, susceptible to exogenous pathogen and easy transmission, establish ＂treating Wei and Qi simultaneously, truncating and reversing＂ as the therapeutic principle, emphasize treating Wei, Qi, Ying and Xue at the same time. While relieving exterior syndrome, clear heat at Qi level and let out heat at Ying-Xue level. Simultaneously, protect body fluid. In herbal prescription, use more heat-clearing and detoxifying herbs, using bitter and cold herbs early, cool blood and let out ying promptly, combine with nourishing-Yin and protecting-fluid. With those methods, then can get good clinical effects.
