On the Change and Development of the Postwar Relationship between the U.S.and Europe，and on the Alliance and Integration of Europe

进入２０世纪，美国跻身于世界列强之列，进而在２０世纪中期开始逐渐成为 世界第一强国，左右国际格局，独霸世界。然而，在美国称霸的过程中，资本主义的欧洲一直是美国全球战略的重要而且关键的一环。“统一、强大的欧洲”不仅是欧洲人的梦想，也是美国由世界一隅走向全球化的需要。因此美国全力以赴地经营着美欧关系，随着国际局势的变化，调整着其对欧政策。欧洲一体化的进程的每一阶段都受到美国的对欧政策的影响。

This paper intends to talk generally about the postwar relationship between the U.S.and Europe，and makes comments on it briefly.It also stresses o n questions about the alliance and integration of Europe，the evolution of the a ttitude，and the policy of the U.S.It analyzes the tradition of the relation-sh ip between the U.S.and Europe in the process of development and its impact on th e international polit-ical affairs in future.
