Populace Society at Dabieshan Mountain Areas in the Han Dynasty

今霍山、六安建城约在公元前2090年左右,是见于文献的我国最早的城邑之一。它们的平民社会以农业为经济基础。英、六所在地的大别山区平民社会的文化深受皋陶文化的影响,下启楚晚期文化,是组成汉文化的重要成分。汉代贵族社会的奢侈淫靡伤风败俗,是传统文化中的消极因素。

Huoshan and Lu＇an were built around 2090 BC,which were listed among the earliest cities in China＇s recorded literature.The populace society then was based on agricultural economy.The culture in the populace society at Dabieshan Mountain areas,where Ying（Huoshan was called in the earliest time）and Lu＇an were located,was greatly influenced by the Gao Yao Culture,which carried forward the culture in late Chu and became an important part of the Han Culture.The noblemen＇s luxurious,lascivious and extravagant life in the Han Dynasty did great harm to the society＇s morals and was considered as the negative element in the traditional culture.
