The Natural Treasure——A Research on the Elements of the Jia Ma in Zhaotong

甲马是一种频临绝迹的民间木刻版画艺术。它形式单调、朴拙,甚至很原始,但从未掩盖其独特的意味。从中原到西南,到滇东北的昭通,甲马更多是因为它"有意味的形式"传承至今,它的艺术要素,可以窥见这一艺术形式的独特表现形式,更可让人们追溯、探索中原与地方在文化、历史、经济、艺术等方面的种种因缘关系。

＂Jia Ma＂is an endangered folk woodcut craft.Its form is monotonous and plain,or primitive,but it shines with its unique flavor.It is its significant form that it has been passed down and spread out from the Central Plains to Zhaotong,the northeast of Yunnan province.Its unique representation pattern,an art form,can be seen from its art elements.Various close relations between the Central Plains and the remote region can be dated back and investigated from the aspects such as culture,history,economy,art and so on.
