浅析托克维尔“多数暴政”思想

On Tocqueville's Thought of "Majority Tyranny"

法国著名哲学家、社会学家和政治家阿历克斯·托克维尔在《论美国的民主》一书中系统阐述了自由与民主的关系,为后世展现了一幅美国民主的政治画卷。在书中他写出了民情、法制和自然环境对美国民主的影响,最后把美国民主制度长期繁盛的原因归结于美国的民情,书中多次阐述了他对"多数暴政"的担忧,本文欲从托克维尔的历史经历出发探索其思想背后历史原因。

French philosopher,sociologist and politician Alex Tockville describes the relationship between freedom and democracy in ＂ On American Democracy＂ system in the book and shows the political picture of American democracy for the later periods. This paper attempts to explore the historical reasons behind Tocqueville＇s thoughts from the historical experience.
