On the Application of the Corpus in the Classroom Teaching of Language Chunks in ESP in Vocational Colleges

This article analyzes the difficulty in the teaching of ESP. Based on the theory of the cognitive psychological mechanism for language chunks,it probes into effective ways of applying the corpus in the lexical teaching of ESP in vocational colleges such as cultivating learners＇ awareness of language chunks,building the multi-modal teaching mode for language chunks and improving learners＇ capacity of autonomous learning for language chunks.
