This paper studied the size distribution and the volume fraction of precipitates by extraction replica method in silicon steels.Photographs were examined with an analysis software program called Woodpecker for each specimen.Results indicate that the size distribution of precipitates accords with the Weibull distribution,and the volume fraction can be measured by McCall method effectively.
