建国前后湖北农民协会述论

On the Peasant Associations in Hubei Province around the Founding of the People's Republic of China

农民协会是中国共产党发动和组织农民、改造乡村的重要组织载体。解放战争时期至新中国成立初期,湖北农民协会经历了探索与初建、发展、整顿与大发展、撤销等四个阶段。从总体上看,农民协会的兴衰存续,始终受到中国共产党和国家的支配与制约。作为乡村社会的权力组织,农民协会有效弥补了建政过渡时期中共政党和政权组织向农村扩张不够、下移不深的局限,加强了中共对农村的社会控制与社会整合。

The peasant association was an important medium in rural social mobilization and reform for the Communist Party of China.From the period of Liberation War to the early People＇s Republic,the history of the peasant association in Hubei province can be divided into four stages as the initial step,development,rectification and great development,revocation.Overall,the development of the peasant association was always governed by the Party and the Regime.As a kind of powerful organization,the peasant association effectively made up for the lack of influences on the rural society exerted by the Party and the Regime during the transition period.In addition,it was beneficial for the Party and the Regime to strengthen the control of the rural society and enhance the social integration.
