English translator William Tyndale was the first person to translate The New Testament and The Old Testament from the originals into English.His versions were studied and followed by many translators of The Holy Scripture.This paper made contrasts among several versions of the Holy Scripture and summarized the characteristics of Tyndale＇s translation as＂new＂,＂faithful＂and＂understandable＂.
