《论语》篇幅虽短,未解决的问题仍然甚多。"贤贤易色""色难"就是其中的两例,文章从语法、词义、语境等角度分析两句的含义,认为:"贤贤易色","易"当为"轻视"之意;"色难"则应该是"孝顺之色,最为可贵"。

Although the length of the Analects of Confucius is very short,there are many questionable points in each translated text. This is especially true as how to note and translate ＂xian xian yi se＂and ＂se nan＂. This paper analyzes the sentence meaning from grammar, word meaning, context, and so on, and thus believes that ＂xian xian yi se＂should be translated into ＂the man honors his wife＇s virtue but withdraw her beauty＂,and＂se nan＂should be translated into＂the look of filial piety is very precious＂.
