文化回馈：人类文明交流的新境界--以“佛教中国化”为例

On the New Realm of Inter-civilizational Communication:A Look Back at the Sinicization of Buddhism with Xuan Zang's Pilgrimage for Buddhist Scriptures as the Starting Point

如果着眼于"外来宗教中国化的比较研究",从"玄奘西行取经"入手来探讨"佛教的中国化",那么,我们不仅可以把"佛教的中国化"视为人类文明交流与互鉴的一个范例,而且能够借此范例来展开理论反思,提出并论证一个新的理论概念——"文化回馈"。这一新概念至少蕴含着三方面的理论价值与现实意义,即有助于提升人类文明交流与互鉴的理念,有助于继承与弘扬中国文化的优良传统,有助于推进并深化全球化时代的人类多元文明的交流与互鉴。

Taking a comparative approach to the Sinicization of foreign religions, and especially taking Xuan Zang＇s （玄奘） pilgrimage for Buddhist scriptures as the starting point in the case of the Sinicization of Buddhism, will enable us not only to appreciate the Sinicization of Buddhism as an example of the communication and mutual learning among human civilizations, but also to engage in theoretical reflection on that basis, putting forward and arguing for the new concept of ＂cultural feedback＂. This new concept entails theoretical values and practical significance at multiple levels. It is conducive to the promotion of the ideas for communication and mutual learning among human civilizations, to the inheritance and development of the superior aspects of China＇ s traditional culture, and to the deepening and enhancement of the communication and mutual learning in the globalized world of plural and pluralist civilizations.
