中国器乐的心性特征

The Heart/Mind Characteristics of Chinese Instrumental Music

中国哲学的核心是心性论,中国器乐的重点亦是心性论。以往对中国器乐的研究主要从音乐形态、功能及发展现状入手,而从音乐的本质——心性层面出发,从整体性特征、重人心而非琴器、内通之路等方面阐释中国器乐的演奏者如何习琴以及如何为人者十分鲜见。事实上,中国器乐把情感、意志、自由、道德、审美等"真善美"问题作为自己的主要任务来贯穿于古今,抓住了人的本质,这是中国"乐道"的真正智慧——让心灵去不断地追求、创造、超越,永无止境。

Chinese philosophy focuses on the heart/mind, and so does Chinese instrumental music. Previous studies on Chinese instrumental music concerned its form, function and development, but very few have looked at how musicians of Chinese instrumental music play their instruments or how they behave as individuals from the essence of music--its heart/mind--perspective, or from a holistic perspective focused on the heart/mind of people rather on instruments. Indeed, Chinese instrumental music has always integrated into itself the emotion, wills and freedom of people, their morality and aesthetics, that is, the essence of humanity, thus revealing the truly wisdom of the Chinese way of music--the heart/mind＇s continuous and endless pursuit, creation, and going beyond.
