Development of Natural Beauty and Its Association with Artistic Beauty

自然美是美学研究中的一个主要范围,就其字义来说,自然美主要研究自然之美,研究自然的形式、形态的审美内涵,但从其历史发展来考察就会发现,自然美从来不是一种单纯的、孤立存在的美,它总是与人对它的观照方式联系在一起。自然美与艺术美一直处于既联系又矛盾的关系中。在两者的关系上,现代美学家有的认为自然美是艺术美的基础,比如康德和部分浪漫主义者,以及现代实用主义美学家,但大部分美学家认为艺术美是自然美的先决条件,这种观念从自然美的现代确立者黑格尔那里就已经开始了。

Natural beauty is a major aesthetic research scope. Literally, natural beauty mainly concerns about the beauty of nature and study of the aesthetic connotation of form. However, examining its historical development will find that natural beauty has never been a simple, isolated beauty; instead, it is always associated with the way of the people＇s concern about it. Natural beauty and artistic beauty has been in both contact and contradictory relationship. As to their relationship, some modern aestheticians think that natural beauty is the basis of artistic beauty, such as Kant and some romantic and modern pragmatism aestheticians, but the aestheticians mostly argue that artistic beauty is the prerequisite of natural beauty, which has long been established by Hegel, modern founder of natural beauty.
