Venus in Fur is one of the Austrian writer Leopold Von Sacher-Masoch＇s representative？ works,which tells a story about the male masochist. In the novel,the male character is a masochistic？ person,willing to be a slave of the females and be abused.Based on that,some people say the gender？ relation between the characters is reversed,and women have become the masters of men.However,through the dissection of the characters and the plot,we find that what the novel expresses is still patriarchal gender relations under the patriarchal culture.
