摘要
文章主要探讨了信息化时代下的MOOC及其与大学英语教学之间的关系。比较了MOOC与传统大学英语课堂的异同,分析其利弊。指出信息化与大数据是当今时代发展的趋势,MOOC的诞生正是顺应了这一历史潮流,给大学英语教学带来了诸多机遇,同时也带来了严峻挑战。
This paper has an exploratory, discussion on MOOC and its relationship with college English teachingin the information age. It compares and contrasts MOOC and the traditional college English classes and analyzestheir advantages and disadvantages, pointing out that informatization and Big Data, as the trend of the era, have trig-gered the emergence of MOOC, thus constituting some opportunities for as well as challenges to college Englishteaching.
