论德育与政治教育的关系

On the Relation Between Moral Education and Political Education

德育与政治教育是两个不同的概念,但在我国长期混淆不分。相比之下,德育要比政治教育更为根本、更为基础、更为意义重大。德育与政治教育之间存在着一种张力。越是专制程度高的社会,这种张力越小,二者越会接近同一;越是自由开放的社会,这种张力越大,德育和政治教育就越泾渭分明。

Moral education is very different from political education. But they have been confused for a very longtime. By contrast, moral education is much more fundamental and important than political education. There is some tension between moral education and political education. The much autocratic a society is, the less tension in these two kind education, and they even might become one. The much open and free a society is, the much tension will be, and moral education and political education in it will be very different.
