ID4的结构和功能及其对哺乳动物生殖发育的影响

The Structure and Function of ID4 and Its Effects on the Development of Mammalian Germ Cells

摘要 分化抑制因子4(inhibitor of differentiation 4,ID4),也被称为DNA结合抑制因子(inhibitor of DNA binding),是ID(inhibitor of DNA binding or inhibitor of differentiation)家族的成员之一,存在于多种物种中。对该基因早期的研究主要集中在发育和增殖方面。近来,研究发现,ID4在各种肿瘤中具有重要的调控作用,然而其在生殖调控尤其是在精原干细胞的增殖和分化中究竟发挥着怎样的功能以及如何通过一定的作用方式发挥其功能,还有待于进一步阐明。该文主要简述了ID4的基因结构和功能、相互作用的蛋白质及在哺乳动物生殖细胞发育调控方面的研究进展和存在的问题。 ID4(inhibitor of differentiation 4), also known as inhibitor of DNA binding, is a member of the ID(inhibitor of DNA binding or inhibitor ofdifferentiation) family, which exists in many species. Early studies on ID4 are focused mainly on the development and proliferation of cells, especially on various tumors now. However, its function on the reproduction, especially in the proliferation and differentiation of the spermatogonial stem cells still needs a further study. In this review, the gene structure and the function of ID4, the interaction of proteins and the problems in the development of mammalian germ cells are discussed.
