For rapid prototyping manufacturing (RPM), there are three main modules - real-time slicing module, contour line offsetting module and scanning route optimizing module. Following the rule of fitting with the true fact, this paper developed a computer simulation system by integrating the above three modules together. The real-time slicing algorithm has an advantage over existing ones, that is, our algorithm can treat slicing layer intersecting with a triangle in any position. The modules developed can be applied to actual RPM by only a little modification.
