《辞海》“施耐庵”辞条释义指瑕

Errors in Interpretations of Some Entries concerning SHI Nai-an in An Ocean of Words

《辞海》第六版关于"施耐庵"辞条的释义存在多处舛误和瑕疵:一是将"明中叶高儒《百川书志》"误说成"明初高儒《百川书志》";二是无视施耐庵生平调研成果,仅采只言片语的私家书目和笔记资料,引据利己观点的署录,籍此得出"施耐庵为钱塘人"的不实结论;三是对"明末胡应麟《少室山房笔丛》则谓罗本(贯中)乃施耐庵门人"之说妄持怀疑态度;四是引述《兴化县续志》载明人王道生撰《施耐庵墓志》的内容失实。为此撰文指瑕辨正,以资《辞海》修订再版时参考。

There are some mistakes or flaws in the interpretation of some entries concerning＂SHI Nai-an＂in the 6th–edition An Ocean of Words.The first one is that the work A Book of A Hundred Rivers by GAO Ru in the mid Ming Dynasty is misinterpreted as the one by GAO in the early Ming Dynasty.The second is that the investigation concerning SHI Nai-an＇s life is neglected only some fragments of folk catalogues and notes are adopted.What is more,some self-supporting quotations are made to get the false conclusion that SHI was born in Qiantang.The third is that An Ocean of Words wrongly holds doubt toward the view ＂A Collection of Notes in Shaoshishan Studio by HU Ying-lin in late Ming Dynasty took LUO Ben（Guanzhong）as the pupil of SHI＂.The fourth is that the citation fromContinued Annals of Xinghua Countythat WANG Dao-sheng of Ming Dynasty wrote SHI Nai-an＇s Epigraphis not true.Accordingly,this paper has made some corrections of such mistakes in an attempt to be served as the reference for the future edition of the great work.
