穆旦一直是现代诗歌研究中一个不可逾越的重要诗人,近年来也成为众多学者研究的焦点。穆旦一生经历了很多事,与很多地方有过或多或少的联系,尤其是与贵州这个西南地区发生了千丝万缕的联系。这主要表现在他人生的辗转变化,三千里步行至昆明经过贵州时的所见所闻和发表在《贵州日报·革命军诗刊》上的一系列诗作。这些都对穆旦以后的创作产生了深远影响,改变了其诗歌创作风格,也使我们更深入地了解到穆旦与贵州的关系。
