There is no doubt that Jonathan Swift＇ s Gulliver＇ s Travels is an outstanding novel. There are few studies pay attentions to feminism aspect which combines with Gulliver＇ s characters. Through text analyzing, the author argues that Gulliver has misogyny complex and the female images which Gulliver describes are the reflections of Eve in the Holy Bible. This paper analyzes female character＇ s functional value and distorted images in order to illustrate the misogyny complex of Gulliver. It provides a new perspective for readers to understand the characters of Gulliver.
