版本源流与底本甄别:陈望道《共产党宣言》文本考辨

Edition Origins and Master Copy Discrimination: Chen Wangdao's Textual Research on the Communist Manifesto

根据共产国际代表维经斯基通信记录,陈望道翻译的《共产党宣言》初版时间可以精确到1920年8月17日前。当前,陈望道译本在全国共发现17种版本,考证其版本刊布,可见该译本传播时间久、范围广、影响大,且译本发行与传播受制于国内政治环境。此外,无论是陈望道本人的回忆还是陈望道译本与1906年日译本的文本比对,抑或是对译本术语差异的考究都佐证了陈望道译本主要依据的底本为1906年幸德秋水、堺利彦合译的《共产党宣言》日译本这一事实。

According to the communication record of Comintern representative G. N. Voitrngsky, it can be verified that the Chinese translation of Manifesto of the Communist Party by Chen Wangdao was published before August 17, 1920. At present, as many as 17 versions of this Chinese translation can be found, which proves to be the most everlasting, wide-spreading and influential version. It＇ s also found that the publication and circulation of this translation has been closely restricted by the domestic political environment. In addition, the memoir of its translator, its comparison with the Japanese translation （1906） and the study of the terminological differences of these versions all jointly contribute to the fact that Chen Wangdao＇ s Chinese version of Manifesto of the Communist Party was translated from the Japanese version published in 1906.
