摘要
传统的计算机组成原理实验中大部分实验项目为简单性验证实验,学生参与实验的主动性不高,且实验的开展必须借助特殊的实验装置,这进一步限制了学生的创造性。针对这些弊端对计算机组成原理的实验教学做了一些有益的改革和实践,主要包括以下三个方面:增加设计性和综合性的实验项目,建立层次合理的实验教学体系;在实验中引入EDA技术,学生在完成实验时可以利用硬件描述语言实现硬件的设计和仿真;开发虚拟实验系统,直观地展示计算机各组成部件的工作原理。实践表明,这种改革方案有助于发挥学生的创造力,培养学生硬件设计和开发能力。
Most traditional experiments related to the course of computer organization are confirmatory,which makes the learning too simple for the students and weakens their motivation for participation in experiments. Besides,the experiments must be carried out with special experiment equipment,which further limits the students' creativity. To resolve these drawbacks,the paper aims to initiate some useful reforms and practices on experimental teaching of computer organization. It can be achieved by the following three major steps. Firstly,it is advised to build reasonable experimental teaching system by increasing the amount of design- oriented and comprehensive projects. Secondly,EDA technology is introduced in the experiments to enable the students to better conduct the designing and simulation of hardware by using hardware description language. Thirdly,a virtual experiment system is proposed to be developed to demonstrate the principles of computer components. Practice shows that this reform program will help to enhance students' creativity and capabilities of hardware designing and developing.
