On the Employment Barriers and Breakthroughs of the New-generation Migrant Workers in the Process of Urbanization of Transferred Agricultural Population

作为农民工群体主力军,就业是新生代农民工市民化的基本前提和必要保障。然而,目前新生代农民工普遍面临制度、城市承载力、安居成本、能力和心理等诸多障碍。探索政府主导市民化的改革方案势在必行。必须通过配套改革,实现城市公共服务均等化,健全农民工就业保障体系,提升就业能力和适应能力等举措加以突破。

As the main force of the migrant workers,employment is the basic premise and necessary guarantee of the urbanization of the new-generation migrant workers. But the new-generation migrant workers are faced with employment barriers of the system,city＇s bearing capacity,habitable cost,personal and mental ability,etc. Therefore,it＇s imperative to explore the reform plan of urbanization dominated by government. By means of coordinative reform,we should make efforts to achieve the equalization of urban public service,establish and perfect the employment guarantee system and improve employability and adaptability of the new-generation migrant workers.
