摘要
地质立典就是对一个典型地质区、一项专业性专题、一种地质现象或一个地质事件,通过反复调查研究,取足证据,概括出规律和理论,为地质工作提供范例,为地质对比提供标准和尺度。文章提出九十年代地质立典的设想框架,包括规程、指南性地质立典工作;区域性或典型地质区的地质立典工作;学科或专业性地质立典工作;专题性的地质立典工作等。
The formulation of a geological code refers to the summarization of regularities and theories through repeated iovestigations of a geological phenomenon or event in a typical geological area for a special subject and collection of sufficient evidence in order to provide an example or guide for geological work and criteria or a yardstick for geological correlation. The pager proposes the envisaged framework for the work of formulation of geological codes in the 1990's, including that of guide nature, that on a regional scale or in a typical geological area, that of a discipline or speciality and that of a special subject.
