Relevant literature was consulted to summarize the contemporary famous TCM doctors＇ s experience in cough variant asthma research,diagnosis and treatment were systematiclly analyzed. The pathogenesis is wind pathogen,treated mainly from the aspects of wind,wind phlegm,stasis,cold,dry winds,asthma,liver wind. Many effective prescriptions were introduced for the guidance of clinical work.
