The flute displays its independent and integrated artistic features through its soft tone and viva-cious techniques no matter it plays the solo or the tutti. The combination of the smooth music lines, the movingsound effects and the compact shape makes it the new favorite of music creation and education. In this paper,through exploring the origin of the flute and the symphony and their living environment in different periods, theauthor summed up the existence mode of the flute in the symphony.
