大学使命陈述是一所大学的精神支柱,是对大学办学理念和核心价值观的凝练与提升。文章从文本分析的角度,采用比较研究的方法,通过选取美国"社区学院"、"文理学院"和"研究型大学"三类大学作为研究维度,对39所具有代表性的大学使命陈述进行了比较并分析其中的异同点,为我国大学使命陈述的设计和确定提供参考。

As the spiritual prop of universities mission statement helps to concise the idea of a university and promote it′s core values.This paper adopts text analysis and comparative study analyzes classifications of mission statement in three different dimensions which are community college liberal arts college and research university.Then selects 39 respective universities ana？lyzes the similarities and difference in their mission statements proposes some suggestion for making university mission state？ment in our country.
