摘要
《马丁·伊登》是杰克·伦敦的自传体小说,主人公马丁的生活经历、思想观念、生活背景及人物命运等方面都深深折射出了作者杰克·伦敦的影子。马丁在追求自我的过程中,原先的自我遭到放逐,新的自我无法确立,从而导致其悲剧命运。本文采用拉康的"镜像阶段概念"里的"自我分裂"和"自我异化"理论,分析马丁·伊登的性格发展变化过程。
The Martin Eden is an autobiographical novel written by Jack London,Martin＇s life experiences,ideas,backgrounds and destiny fate are all deeply reflects the shadow of Jack London. Martin banished the original self,but cannot establish a new self in attaining himself. So,it is a certainty that Martin Eden has a tragic fate. This article will analysis the development and change of Martin Eden＇s character with the ＂Self- Division＂and ＂Self- Alienation＂theory of Jacques La- can＇s ＂Mirror Stage＂Concept,in order to provide a fresh new perspective for the study of Martin Eden.
