The Development of Socialism from Utopia to Science was a masterpiece written by Engels in early 1880 s. From the perspectives of historical materialism as well as theoretical and practical significance of surplus value theory,Engels stated the importance of＂Two Discoveries＂in the development from utopia socialism to scientific socialism. This book,which was honored by Marx as the＂introduction to scientific socialism＂,occupies an important position in the history of Marxist development.
